When Do You Say I Love You?
Posted by truthtalklive on 10 March, 2010
Stu Epperson, Jr. has four daughters and he’s afraid…He’s very afraid.
The words “I love you” are bandied about by junior high, googly-eyed teens and , in their defense, they are only parroting back a phrase that is thrown cheaply around in the media and our culture.
When should the word “I love you” be spoken. When there are plans for a wedding? Or is that taking it to the extreme? Stu wants to know what you think before those words spoken to one of his daughters.
Oh, and while we’re on the subject of romance…Here are a couple of Joshua Harris books that you might finding interesting.

Amen to your opening comments Stu….young people throw those emotions around too easily and too many hearts are broken needlessly over it. As i saw with Ps Marv and his family, when you teach them well and they are well grounded, a lot of the “Drama” is avoided… not like there won’t be drame esp with you as the dad… but God will see you and the mirs thru it and the books..especially Kissing Dating Goodbye…. let me tell you i have a son “will” in Palm Beach Atlantic and he and about a dozen of his friends – guys and gals read it… some broke off their existing relationships and have decided to wait for the right God sent woman/man – when they’re at a stage of their life to get married.. a man Francis Chan first shred this thought with Will few years ago at Hume Lake Christian Camp and wouldn’t you know it bout the time of the book reading, Francis was at PBA sharing the same thoughts as in the book..Overall…. if your single give it all to God – serve God first and stop worrying about the guys or the girls… when you do this,God will provide that special someone when HE deems it right…..Blessings from Florida.
