We are on the verge of a major collapse of evengelical Christianity. So says our guest today on Truth Talk Live.
Michael Spencer’s blog www.internetmonk.com has attracted quite a bit of attention in Christian and non-Christian circles. He says millions of evangelicals will quit. Thousands of ministries will end . Christian media will be reduced, if not eliminated and many Christian schools will go into rapid decline.
Michael Spencer is a writer and communicator living and working in a Christian community in Kentucky. He describes himself as a “postevangelical reformation Christian in search of a Jesus-shaped spirituality”.

i beleave that its already has started but will get worse the bible said this would happen only means were getting closer
It occurs to me that the thing that endures is not a particular breed of Christianity, but Christ’s truth.
“Evangelical” is a label we have given to certain traditions surrounding the corporate worship some Christians engage in and certain parallels they have in understanding God’s truth as He has chosen to reveal it to us. It seems to me that no person or group is going to have it “exactly right”; if it turns out that Evangelical traditions are passing away, I only hope that God’s people are open enough to re-examining things where necessary and looking for more relevant ways to share life with others.
Frankly, if we want what Christ wanted — to bring His message to the utmost parts of the Earth — why does it matter whether or not the church we attend is “Evangelical”?
Christ doesn’t need us at all. He loves us anyway. What we do or don’t do doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. Christians need to get over themselves and get serving Jesus.
