I am a white femaile who loves music and mostly "Christian Contemporary". I also love well composed music of all genres. I enjoy thoughtful and edifying pieces that bring life to the soul that aren't found on any "Christian" stations. The man who said that the drum beat was "of the flesh" was sooooo faaarrrr off the truth. Tell me then, what sound does your heart make? Thump, thump.....right? Were we made in the image of God? So, does God have a heart beat? Think about that one for a while. Its not the tool that has sin, it is man. Redeem the man, and then the tool can be molded and used to edify God. The beat reminds me that I am indeed alive and have energy to do his will. The beat also reminds me that I am a warrior of God and I am in a battle daily to do His will.
