I wonder what Dr. Martin Luther King would think about his niece spewing this right-wing extremist anti-abortion rhetoric. This is nothing more than a transparent attempt to split African American voters from their traditional support of liberal and progressive candidates and policies. Dr. Alveda King is touting the same kind of conspiracy theory promoted by white supremacists that claim there is an ongoing systematic destruction of the white race by way of legalized abortion. So if both the black and white races are being systematically eliminated simultaneously who is behind this massive conspiracy? I think this shows just how incredibly weak and silly this argument is against women’s rights. Dr. Alveda King knows very well no one is forcing women to get abortions. There was a time in our nation’s history however, when men could force women to get abortions. This is why men now have no reproductive rights whatsoever in this country. We abused them. If we take away reproductive rights from women and give them to the government then no individual has any reproductive rights. This demonstrates the utter hypocrisy of the conservative anti-government public option health care movement. The neo cons say they don’t want the government involved in its citizen’s private health care decisions. That’s just not true. They just want to be able to say which health care decisions the government can make and which ones they can’t. Apparently the far right’s idea of transparency is positing arguments that are so stupid almost anyone can see through them.

I'm sorry, but, "the systematic destruction of the black race"?
In America, where almost EVERYONE is of mixed decent?
In the 21st century?
This just sounds too much like a conspiracy theory using the race card to me.

Cute video[snicker].
I thought only the stereotypical Catholics thought of birth control as a negative thing.
Some people just don't seem to be truly happy unless they feel victimized, it seems.
