If this country had a human-shaped body, then the various evils threatening this country from within would be akin to the "body" of this nation having a whole arm infected with gangrene, with the various evils threatening this country from the outside akin to rats eating away at one whole leg, and this problem here that you are debating over akin to ignoring the former problems to try and cut off one finger on the one healthy arm because it has a nasty cut. But the word of God instructs: "Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well."
