I heard a reairing of the program where Pastor Greg was talking about the death of his son. This broadcast was so timely for me as my mother passed away on Monday, Feb. 16th and she was a Great Woman of God by colabourer in the Gospel and I was having a very diffcult time dealing with her death experiencing moments of unspeakable grief. Something else so amazing to me is that my radio broadcast which is about death and a tribute to my mom is about to air on KGMS 940 AM in Tucson, AZ right after the reairing of Truth Talk Live with Pastor Greg Laurie as the guest. Sometimes we are so overtaken with grief we forget about others that are grieving also. My program is coming on as I write this. As far as the lady that was unable to meet her Pastor...I am so sorry...My pastor always told me that a shephard should always touch his sheep and sometimes you have to touch them with more than the Word...there is nothing like human contact...I am sure though that if she needs counseling of some kind the church is large enough to have a staff to assist her and show love...in the midst of thousands God sees the "one" that may need Him more than anyone else. Peace and Blessings to all!...Evangelist Deneene...Always believing for the best!

I was listening at about 5:20 pm EST on 2/18/09 when a lady from NC called in and said how disappointed she was in not being able to meet the pastor of the church she had been attending in Kernersville. It seems that the church is part of the Harvest Christian Fellowship that Greg is affiliated with. According to the caller the church had started with about 50 members and now the membership is around 1,000. Greg told her as long as she was "being fed" she shouldn't be as concerned to meet the pastor of the church (or words to that effect). I thought how sad for a person to attend a church and not be able to meet the minister. I realize I'm not as "religious" as most church people, but if a church is so large you can't meet the minister, its "TOO BIG". Hope she doesn't have a crisis in her life and doesn't have someone to counsel her. After all, I'm sure the minister of her church is too busy meditating, praying, writing, being on the radio, and going out to lunch at Golden Corral with Little Stu and his cronies to care about taking a few minutes to meet with someone who takes time to attend services on a regular basis. May we little people expect too much from our ministers.
