I think that you should not recommend this college to your friend and this is why. Evolution being strongly supported means that it will be taught more as a fact than as theory. If you have that being taught at a Christian college then that brings a question as to the true relevance of the Bible. If the very first chapter of the book is not true then why should I believe the rest of it? If we begin to question God as our creator then we will question him as our Lord. Oh and by the way, disagreement with evolution is not a hatred towards science it is a passion for truth, for if you look at our origins from a scientific viewpoint then you must view all the different ideas and find one that is most likely. Is it more likely that we happened by chance and appeared out of nothing or is it more likely that we are genetically created or designed by a higher being. The true scientist would hold to the simplest theory. The fact that bringing evolution back to the very first molecule leaves the matter of where it came from, should lead one to believe that it is more rational to see that because of the complexity of all life, even single cell organisms, we had to have been created.
